Dr. William T. Kane graduated from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Dentistry in 1980 and has maintained a general practice in Dexter, Missouri ever since. In addition to practicing dentistry, Dr. Kane's interest and passion have been in the area of addiction recovery and wellness. Since 1987, Dr. Kane has been the Chairman of the Dentist Well-Being Committee for the Missouri Dental Association. Additionally, Dr. Kane served as a member of the Dental Wellness Advisory Committee with the American Dental Association, and has published and presented on these topics numerous times. He completed an M.B.A. course of study from SEMO University in 1992. In 2010, he received his
Fellowship in the American College of Dentists, and was awarded Missouri Dentist of the Year by the Missouri Dental Association for 2013.

Dr. Kane currently volunteers his time and is instrumental in operating the Smiles of Hope Clinic, which provides reduced-cost dental care to under-served dental populations in Southeast Missouri. He also enjoys mentoring young dental students as they enter and
progress through dental school. In his free time, Dr. Kane is a duck-hunting enthusiast and likes traveling with his family.
