Growing up in Union Missouri, a small town west of St. Louis, I wanted to raise my family in an area with small town values where neighbors grow to know and work together.

I attended college at Oklahoma State University and graduated from University of Missouri College of Optometry in 1990. After six years of practice with Group Health Plan, a multi-specialty group with offices throughout St. Louis, I saw an opportunity in Sikeston and opened my independent practice in 1996. Later that year we expanded to include an office in Poplar Bluff. We care for all ages emphasizing early detection and treatment of disease, especially in children and seniors when the risks of eye disorders are greatest.

My wife, Anne, and I enjoy time with friends and family and four grown children.
